People squeezed into the inside of the boat
That boat ride is kind of a trip. Funny and scary at the same time. But in the end I don't care anyways, because I am seasick. Like almost everyone in the front of the boat. I am so glad when we get off. Not just because of me, but because of that poor couple that offered me to sit next to them when we got on the boat...
We change onto the mini-bus. I fall asleep right away and when I wake up, Bertus is sitting in front of me swinging around his Sang Som Bottle that is more than half way done ...
Still doing it: Bertus & his Sang Som in love
... he is definitely enjoying his life right now, even though talking seems to be kind of hard for him...till he passes out...and he won't even wake up, when we start shaking him, because our driver wants to know where exactly we wanne go in Krabi, where we just arrived at. As Bertus does not wake up, Jen takes out the little Free & Easy booklet we got, and we're lucky, it says we want to go to Ao Nam Ao pier ...
We arrive at the pier, but there are no boats leaving. As it is stormy and rainy out there. Luckily Ben suddenly opens our minibus door. As this was one part of the journey, that Bertus was the one who had notion about, Ben is kind of surprised somehow. He takes over pretty good, and I don't think he really had a clue, but he gets us to the right place and Bertus is at least waking from his coma. And he's kind of starting to manage stuff again at the pier even though he is still not able to walk straight...
We make our way through the muddy low tide beach, passing some really chilling bars and walk all the way up to Highland Bungalows.
